  • Personal Use License: When you purchase a PDF sewing pattern from us, you are buying a license to use that pattern for your own personal projects. All patterns are for personal, non-commercial use only​. You may print the pattern and use it to sew for yourself or to make gifts, but you may not share, distribute, or resell the digital pattern file to others​. If you wish to use a pattern for commercial purposes (for example, to sell products made from it), please contact us or the designer to inquire about a separate license​.
  • Intellectual Property: The sewing patterns and content on Sewing Universe remain the intellectual property of their respective creators and our platform​. Purchasing a pattern gives you the right to use it, but does not transfer ownership of the design or copyright. You may not claim our patterns or any part of our website content as your own or use them in any unauthorized way.
  • Digital Download Delivery: All our products are digital (PDF downloads) – no physical item will be shipped​. Upon successful payment, you will receive an email with a download link for your PDF pattern​. This link is typically sent immediately, so you can get started right away. Please ensure your account email address is correct at checkout to receive your pattern. If you do not receive the download email or have any trouble accessing your files, contact our support and we will assist you promptly.
  • Accuracy and Use: We strive to provide accurate descriptions, sizing information, and instructions for every pattern, but we cannot guarantee that all information is error-free​. Your results may vary when using a pattern – factors like individual sewing skill, fabric choice, and any alterations can affect the outcome. We do not guarantee a perfectly fitting or specific result for every user​. It is your responsibility to use the patterns safely and appropriately. If you find any issues or errors in a pattern, let us know and we will do our best to address it.
  • Acceptance of Terms: By using our website and purchasing patterns, you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to update our Terms and Conditions as needed.
